Demerit of TPPA

Because of the World Wide Web (Internet), people have easier way of gaining information compare to the past. Of course there is inaccurate information everywhere, but sometimes there is the extremely important information could be given. Today's example is about the truth of TPPA. By the improvement of information technology, people now know the huge demerit of joining TPPA.

First, as it explained above, free trade agreement is to treat any company fairly the no matter which countries its from. However, please imagine if USA’s large multinational companies decides to start the business in other countries. What would happen? Some of the companies will be over taken by them because they have enough money to win the competition. Business is all about money, and stronger company always have much money than others. President Obama thinks the same
Because the USA carries huge multinational companies, it will never be the fair trade.

Second worried issue is the expectation from the USA joining TPPA. This expectation was hidden from the people until it'd been leaked, which is similar case of what happened in NZ.
One of a most important chapter need to be considered and discussed from the USA expectation is about the copy right issue. It is the legislation to protect the skills, knowledge and culture to be stolen or been copied they say. However, it is not that easy. If its only for the DVD, movies or games it is fine, but USA is expecting everything which have the copy-right to be included in the legislation. For example, if that legislation has been created, people could be arrested by just looking at internet website because people look into the copy-right information. USA also included in a chapter that police could arrest them without getting any claims from the copy-right holder. Recently, if holder doesn't claim the issue, police have no rights to arrest, but they will be able to after the law has been changed. Not only the criminals, citizens could be arrested as well with no excuse. Because of this, the New Zealand is now worried to sign the agreement between the countries. Not only the New Zealand is worried, but other countries as well. For example, Japan was interested in joining the TPPA but the citizens weren't because they know that their cultural products like comics and animation could be restricted as well. Trouble is that some politician thinks it is better for the country to join the TPPA, or maybe they mean it is beneficial for them selves sadly.
